Exploring microbiota
in search of novel therapies.

Microbiota Med is a team, knowledge and experience oriented towards the exploration of the health-promoting potential of the microbiota.

 

We plan and conduct research on human and livestock microbiota. We offer R&D design services focused on the impact of food, dietary supplements, and other orally ingested xenobiotics on the gut microbiota. We also have the know-how to test cosmetics and other topically applied products for interactions with the human skin microbiota.

Prof. dr hab. n. pharm. Sebastian Granica

A young scientist of outstanding activity. He received his doctoral degree in 2014, his habilitation only 2 years later, and since 2021 he has held the title of professor. His work includes almost 100 scientific papers. He has been the PI of projects funded by the National Science Center and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

dr hab. Jakub Piwowarski

A young and very active researcher. He received his doctoral degree in 2015 and his habilitation in 2017. Author of more than 40 scientific papers in the field of natural drug research and human gut microbiota. He has led projects funded by the National Science Center, the National Center for Research and Development and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education
